Kayachikitsa represents the school of medicine . Kayachkitsa is one among the eigt branches of Ayurveda which deals with the multi systemic illness. Kayachikitsa educates in the division of General Medicine in |Ayurveda equipping the scholar to design a treatment protocol comprising of a rantge of internal and external medications as well as specialized therapies according to the nature of the disease. If forms the basis for all other branches of Ayurvedic treatment and hence this lays the foundation for shaping a skilled Ayurvedic physician.

The Department of Kayachikitsa of PNPS Ayurveda Medical College intends at bringing about confluence in achieving academic excellence through extending the frontiers of knolwege, integrative teaching, empowering skills, hands on training and promoting scientific temper for researches and keeping up with current developments of the science.

The Department OPD functions with adequate clinical facilities and earmarked 10 and 12 beds each for male and female patients respectively in the IP department.

The department OPD deals with diseases such as Neurology, Rheumatology including joint disorders, Dematology & veneral diseases, gastroenterology, respiratory ailments, preventive cardiology, life style disorders, psychiatry, geriatrics, infertility, nephrology, urology and endocrinology.

Conducting periodical medical camps by the department on its own orienting various disorders.
